Itinerary
Day 1 : GUWAHATI - KAZIRANGA
On arrival in Guwahati airport. Transfer to Kaziranga National Park, the abode of one horned rhinoceros. Reaching there we check in at Hotel
Day 2 : KAZIRANGA
We shall start early in the morning for an elephant safari for 01 hour inside the park which is a world heritage site. After elephant safari, breakfast at lodge. After Lunch we go for a jeep safari in the western range of the park.
Day 3 : KAZIRANGA -SHILLONG
After Breakfast we drive to Shillong enroute visit Don Bosco Museum which is one of the most Hitech museums in India. On arrival check in at Hotel Overnight in Shillong.
Day 4 : SHILLONG – CHERRAPUNJEE
Day trip to Cherrapunjee enroute visit Shillong Peak & then proceed to Elephant Falls before finally leaving for Cherrapunjee-the wettest place on earth where we will be exploring the Mausmai Caves, the Naukalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls and Ram Krishna Mission. Return to Shillong
and overnight in Shillong.
Day 5 : SHILLONG – MAWLYNNONG
After Breakfast Drive to Mawlynnong *, do for a short trek in the village & witness the local beauty. You can also visit Balancing Rock, Sky Walk, Bangladesh view point & the
longest living root bridge. Eat local lunch at the village. Returen to Shillong & Overnight in Shillong
Day 6 : SHILLONG –GUWAHATI
Leave for Guwahati after breakfast. Afternoon we will make a visit to the famed Kamakhya Temple and enjoy the boat ride in Brahmaputra River for visiting Umananda Temple situated in a small river island in Brahmaputra. Overnight in Guwahati.
Day 7 : GUWAHATI - HOMETOWN
